Just as I suspected, the stems look thick and firm but the leaves are continuously looking worse. It's been a couple of days in the soil. There has been drop in temperature again with cooler temperature and less sunlight with the thick clouds. I feel like if I am not careful with my watering it could be the point of making or breaking the plants. For the most part my habits have been the same. Watering in the morning and sometimes at the end of the day. My friend also suggested maybe it was the way I was watering these plants. It wasn't good to water directly on the leaves and that the soil would be better. I read a shower for a couple inches above the plant in a zig zag like motion. There was still so much about the gardening world that I needed to learn. I figured I'd let it go on for another week to see if there was anymore growth to hopefully produce some sort of vegetable from at least one plant but I wasn't so sure about this.

I was also surprised to see flowers coming out of cilantro! I guess I've never seen it in this stage before. I learned that a way a plant is grown can change its taste. I just knew I didn't want to taste this flowering vegetable thought it does produce seeds for more cilantro! Before the flowering happen, we used it in some of our traditional dishes at home. It was pretty satisfying to be able to consume something that you tended and grew yourself. It made me feel more connected to Earth and nature. I realized I only got a taste of what I was missing out on. I envisioned if I was able to be successful producing more and more fruits and vegetables, I would be able to eventually rely on going out less. This means less packaging to worry about, less consumption of gas because I would have to use a car, less pesticides to be cautious of, more carbon dioxide for the environment, and more salads, the list goes on.
